First, we are so sorry to hear that you're in this position. It's a tough place to be and we understand how difficult it is. Sometimes unexpected circumstances arise or things get held up. However, we can't offer Floats without being paid back, so it's important to make your full payments on time.
We attempt to determine whether you have sufficient funds in your account and decline to process repayment if we believe you do not; this, however, is not a guarantee that our repayment attempts will not overdraft your account. If we aren’t able to obtain repayment on your repayment date for whatever reason, we will reattempt your repayment up to two (2) additional times on subsequent dates at our discretion. We want you to know we do not report Floats to the credit bureaus and won’t hire debt collectors to obtain repayment. You did, however, agree to repay your Float when you requested it, and it is our expectation that you will do so as soon as you are able.
In the worst-case scenario, if you fail to pay FloatMe back for an extended period of time, you may be banned from our platform.
