First, we are so sorry to hear that you're in this position. It's a tough place to be and we understand how difficult it is. Sometimes unexpected circumstances arise or things get held up. However, we can't offer Floats without being paid back, so it's important to make your full payments on time.
If your initial payment is unsuccessful, our system will keep checking your account balance until the money is available and make the withdrawal when we believe it is least likely to cause an overdraft on your account. We do our best to help you avoid overdraft fees, but unfortunately we can't guarantee it won't happen.
The payback date is shown up front, so while we make good faith attempts to collect when funds are likely to be available, repaying Floats are a legal obligation, regardless of available funds. And while this is tough, we do want you to know we do not report Floats to the credit bureaus at this time.
In the worst-case scenario, if you fail to pay FloatMe back, this may result in a ban from our platform. Nobody wants that, so please repay your Float as soon as possible.
