There are a few reasons you might see the following error upon login:
If you are receiving this "error authenticating your login" message, then most likely your are using a connection method that is not supported by our security system. The security of your account is our top priority! But no worries, there are a couple of solutions you can try. Let's troubleshoot:
1. Are you using a VPN? Your FloatMe app may have detected a VPN (Virtual Private Network) being used on your device. Please try turning this off, then log in again.
2. Is your WiFi network secure? The WiFi network you used to access FloatMe might not be secure. This could be a public WiFi like a coffee shop or workplace, or any other internet connection used by large numbers of people. Try turning the WiFi off and log in using your phone's data connection.
